What is KomfiTilt

KomfiTilt Edition 5 & GO is a lateral tilt system and is a new development to our range of pressure care management products and devices. Lateral tilt systems are commonly used to assist with the healing or prevention of pressure ulcers forming on the body. With this easy setup the KomfiTilt will fit under most mattress types including hospital style beds and alternating air mattresses.

The process of setting up the device is quick and easy using eight fastening  straps to securely attach to the bed, allowing an adjustable width extension of up to 120 centimeters wide and a maximum user weight of 50 stone for bariatric patients. The new Edition 5 & GO advanced pump can be programmed to a 10, 30 or 60 minute cycle time and with its clear pump interface display has the option to allow the patient or carer to control the tilt settings in real time. Using the same proven principles the KomfiTilt Edition 5 is designed to offload and redistribute body weight using either a left neutral right, right neutral right or left neutral left tilt depending on the patient's needs.

By continuous movement to stimulate the blood and lymph flow and using a gentle 22 degree angle of tilt the KomfiTilt improves tissue viability on the more vulnerable areas of the skin. Start making a turn for the better.
